TheGreekTutor combines open-licence source data with original teaching material. The distinction matters, and it is preserved here and inside every downloadable guide.
Open-licence source components
SBL Greek New Testament
The Greek text is The Greek New Testament: SBL Edition, edited by Michael W. Holmes. It is used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence. See the official SBLGNT licence.
MorphGNT
Morphological parsing and lemmatization are drawn from James K. Tauber's MorphGNT: SBLGNT Edition, version 6.12. These data remain available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 licence. Reuse or adaptation of MorphGNT-derived parsing must retain that licence and its required attribution. Contextual glosses, semantic teaching notes, close-reading translations, literary and social analysis, sermon frameworks, teaching notes, contemporary applications, website copy, and original interface content are copyright 2026 TheGreekTutor unless otherwise stated.
A purchaser of a downloadable resource may use the original TheGreekTutor material for personal study, sermon preparation, and individual ministry. The purchase does not permit redistribution, resale, republication, public file sharing, or systematic classroom reproduction.
Classroom and institutional use
A separate classroom or institutional licence will be required when files are distributed to students, placed in a shared learning-management system, or reproduced for a group. Open-licence source components remain governed by their respective licences.
Scholarship and quotations
Modern commentaries and grammar works are paraphrased and cited. Their copyrighted prose is not reproduced as part of the product. Bibliographies appear in the relevant guides.
Purchases and delivery
Digital purchases, file delivery, payment processing, and refund requests are handled through the terms shown by Gumroad at checkout.
Privacy
The public website does not currently operate its own user accounts or analytics service. Notes and saved vocabulary in the Gospel Reader are stored locally in the user's browser. Purchases made through Gumroad are subject to Gumroad's privacy and payment terms.
